ONE-SHOT   [  PREMIERE NIGHT  ]   TEASER
Premiere night is one and only. Thus, it deserves a single shotSingle scene with a single wave, conveying a single message:
Theatrical comedy about seeking a lost container no one has ever seen. And that's what makes it so appealing.
TRAILER   [  ONLINE  ]   VIDEO INVITE
"What is inside that container? What if it's me?"
Lynn is trapped inside her mind. Or inside the container, no one knows for sure. But honestly, nobody cares, because everyone's fixation is just about that container that no one has ever seen or laid their hands on.
WALL    [  THEATER PROJECTIONS  ]   TV
A gentle scene between two women escalates into Lynn simultaneously appearing on the wall behind and on the TV next to them. All "the Lynns" intertwine (including the one on stage), some confessing, other ones claiming or asking questions... But all of them are one at the end - all desperately trying to locate her body, sense and place in this world.
" Have you been sure to see me? Me, myself and I? "
***
At the beginning of 2017, I was approached by a Slovak artist, theatre director Marian Amsler, who decided to adapt and direct Container Paris, originally written by David Gieselmann. He asked me to cover the production and artistic direction of 5 video pieces that would be part of the play and two other ones for the Internet, a teaser (video invitation) and a trailer. First, we went to shoot Lynn in an actual container, punk style. It was cold, but in this case, her trembling body added to overall performance. Second, we headed to the airport, where we shot the group of actors, aimlessly wondering from one place to another in the endless search of the container. The best thing about this project was the wide range of themes we had to cover, from the fake and ridiculous importance of a completely unimportant search to important sadness and desperation of a person, which - in spite of its seriousness - no real attention is being paid to.
